Starla Stensaas is currently the Creative Director for a student staffed design, marketing and web development studio that creates materials for Student Involvement and the Nebraska Unions at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. SIIS manages eleven web sites.

Our most complex task is managing the Student Involvement web site. We are required by University Communications to comply with Toolbox branding standards, which means using the University's web template includes. The site is managed with HTML, PHP, and MySQL.

Another site that originates from the SIIS studio is UNLlife.com, a Web 2.0 site that is designed "for students by students" using Django, a Python framework.

We also manage the Nebraska Unions website, including a daily calendar of events and room assignments, and sites for large campus-wide events such as Big Red Welcome and The Big Event.
