Teaching Methodology

This course is focused on experiential learning and will be taught in the computer studio with formal and informal critique sessions. Demonstrations related to the software will be presented during studio sessions. Workbooks will be used to familiarize students with software packages and tutorials will be available on-line.

It is the student's responsibility to seek out information and support in learning new software from faculty and peers. Working with technology requires lifelong learning and collaboration within the computing community. Students are expected to be both teachers and learners in the classroom.

Students are expected to participate in critique and to use appropriate design vocabulary in their critiques.

Students should be aware that publishing a web site constitutes making their coursework public. Student work from this class may be posted as examples on future sites housing course materials for this class, on the Nebraska Wesleyan University Art Department site, and on
